Simple Sessions
Simple Sessions were formed in 2019 as a recording project aiming to showcase some of the top musicians in the North of England, particularly around Yorkshire. The project developed to include video production for each of the songs, which are generally in a neo-soul or soul/r&b style, covering artists from the likes of Emily King and Kara Marni, to Hiatus Kaiyote and Dua Lipa.

Jon Melville
Jon studied a classical music degree at the University of Nottingham, where he focused primarily on performance and composition. Since moving to Leeds in 2004, he has toured the UK and Europe extensively, performing on both saxophone and keyboard. He has also recently released his piano composition ‘Upon Reflection’ on the Barehand Digital label, which is now available on all the major streaming platforms.
